Linear Algebra
Card Game
An educational game to learn about key concepts and surprising connections in linear algebra.

Card Game Milestones
From a classroom experiment to a globally shared open resource.
How to Play
Place cards, explain connections, earn points.
Draw Your Hand
Each player draws 6 cards from the shuffled deck. Cards contain definitions, theorems, or examples. Each card has a point value.
Place a Card
On your turn, place a card adjacent to any card already on the table, horizontally or vertically, building a shared grid of concepts.
Explain the Connection
Explain how your card relates to explain how your card relates to all the cards in the same row and column. The other players judge your reasoning: a solid justification earns points.
Score & Win
If the other players agree with your motivation, you earn points equal to the sum of all the cards in the row and column plus any directional bonuses. The game ends when a player has earned at least 30 points.
